A 400-gram autonomous camera that runs on solar power, transmits over 4G and builds a timestamped archive you can pull through an API. Deployed in under an hour, anywhere a mounting point and a cellular signal exist.
Most field imaging fails on logistics, not on optics.
Instrumenting a site usually means a mast, a battery bank, a power supply and a way to get the data back. The equipment is heavy enough to need a vehicle, a permit, sometimes a helicopter — and the cost per site rises to the point where you instrument one location instead of six.
At 400 grams, with a 15 × 10 cm enclosure and a 14 × 20 cm panel, this camera fits in a rucksack alongside the rest of your kit. It attaches to a post, a tree, a railing or a rock anchor, and it comes off just as easily at the end of the campaign.
Replication becomes affordable.
When a single unit is light and cheap to install, a network of viewpoints replaces a single instrumented site. You can cover an elevation gradient, several catchments, or a control and a treatment plot with the same budget that would have bought one conventional station.
It also lowers the cost of failure. A unit lost to weather, theft or a bad site choice is a setback, not a project-ending event.

Images are of little use if they are locked inside a viewer. Everything the camera produces is reachable programmatically.

Cellular coverage is mandatory. The camera has no satellite fallback. Remote catchments, canyon floors and high-latitude sites are frequently uncovered — tell us your coordinates and we will give you an honest assessment.
Solar power sets the duty cycle. Capture frequency and video use are limited by what the panel harvests at your latitude and season. A high-frequency campaign through a polar winter is not something this camera can deliver, and we will say so rather than let you find out in the field.
Built to fit a grant line, not a subscription.
Research budgets are usually allocated as equipment for a defined project period, which does not sit well with a rental contract. For scientific projects we therefore sell the hardware outright.
You own the units, you keep them beyond the project, and you can redeploy them on the next campaign. Pricing on request, with reduced rates for multiple units.
We are a small team — that has advantages.
Capture interval, field of view, image parameters and enclosure mounting can be adapted to a specific protocol. If your campaign needs something the standard configuration does not do, tell us early and we will say plainly whether it is feasible.
We can also supply a quotation and technical documentation formatted for a procurement or grant file, including delivery lead times.
